Advanced Materials Top 40 for July 19, 2012

Work on the synthesis of Aerographite, a new type of ultra-lightweight material, moves up five places to number 1 in this week’s Advanced Materials top 40. Textile energy storage stays at number 2, while Feng Xu and Yong Zhu’s work on conductive silver nanowires is a new entry at number 3.

Elsewhere, George Whiteside’s guide to writing a scientific paper remains in the top 40 – its tenth consecutive week – staying at number 30 for the second week in a row, while the other two papers at their tenth week, on graphene/graphene oxide and oxide semiconductor transistors are at number 14 and number 38, respectively.
